Have you heard of the Red Fist Revolution?

Red Fist Revolution: At work today someone was whispering about it. The name spread like a fire through our ranks. I found their manifesto online, bold as brass, at http://RedFistRevolution.com and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Their words contain hope, and it’s been so long since I’ve had any hope.

For only love can turn an enemy into a friend. Only love can redeem a broken and empty land. In the end, only love can truly change the world for the betterment of all mankind.

I have to find them…

-Trooper Chysalis-

The Red Fist Manifesto

We, the members of the Red Fist Revolution, do hereby swear to the life-long struggle against Goliath, its OverClass, its World Economic System, and all organizations, corporations, governments, and like-entities that act to enslave the body, heart, mind, and soul of mankind.

We believe that all human beings are endowed with certain inalienable rights:
Freedom of Speech,
Freedom to Assembly,
Freedom of Expression,
Freedom of Religion,
Freedom from Discrimination,
And the right to live and work in safety and peace.

We believe in clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, rehabilitating the lawless, visiting the imprisoned, and welcoming the alien and stranger.

We believe in personal and national redemption.

We believe that mankind is fashioned in the image of its Creator. As such, all human life has worth and is sacred.

We are not pacifists, but neither will we wage war the way Goliath does. These battles we fight are not against flesh and blood alone, but they are within the theatre of idea. Our struggle is with the power that sets itself against the knowledge of Truth.

Therefore, we fight in the streets with protests and nonviolent civil disobedience.
We speak out against injustice and corporate bondage.
We picket against debt and impoverishment.
We use our bodies to clog the gears of neo-feudalism that exploits us all.
We set ourselves against those who would rape the land for its bounties without protecting its sanctity.
We struggle to destroy the walls of class between rich and poor, the Haves and the Have-Nots.
We rally against futile wars, hyper-corporatization, nationalism, and all the machinations of the OverClass that use us to achieve their primitive accumulation of empire.

In doing this we continue to recognize the sanctity of life by forgiving those who trespass against us and turning our cheek to those who abuse us. And to all these things we add love:
The love of God,
The love of family and friends,
The love of all mankind,
And even the love for those who persecute us.

For only love can turn an enemy into a friend. Only love can redeem a broken and empty land. In the end, only love can truly change the world for the betterment of all mankind.

Our fists are stained with the blood of our struggle, its redemption, and the victory to come.

We are the Red Fist Revolution
